I spent Christmas in Adelaide, staying with my uncle Steve and his
fiancee Di and her sons Damien and Daniel. Christmas Day was a family
gathering at Di's parents' place. Clayton
and Linda's baby, Cole, was about six months old and got spoiled
rotten, although I reckon Clayton had the most fun. Di's other
brother, Bay, and his new wife Anita were there, too. An excellent
day! Chums back in England should check out the pictures of the pool
and the thermometer.
There are a few shots of a trip around the wineries in the Barossa
valley. Di is a great guide on these visits, not least because until
recently she was heavily involved in promoting the region's wines.
Di called the day to a close when it got to the point that I couldn't
tell the difference between an $80 bottle of wine and a $15 dollar
bottle...
