Biography:

I work as a Research Fellow at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO). I also hold the position of an Adjunct Lecturer within the School of Computer Science at the Australian National University (ANU). I have completed my PhD in Computer Science in November 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Rajkumar Buyya at the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory of The University of Melbourne, Australia. I completed B.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology (CIT) in 2004 from Islamic University of Technology (IUT, OIC), Bangladesh.

My research interests include data management, resource allocation, load balancing, and coordination policies in wide-area distributed systems such as Content Delivery Networks, Cloud computing and Sensor Networks. I have contributed to the MetaCDN Content Delivery Cloud, an integrated overlay network that leverages multiple storage clouds' resources to provide high performance content delivery. For more information, please visit the Project Website. Further information related to my research is available in the Research Directory.

More information can be found in my Curriculum Vitae and CSIRO homepage.
